It was difficult for him to move, so he stopped in an empty house to organize a shelter there. His left leg was bleeding and painful, and he had to wrap it in bandages. He carefully explored the house for supplies until he heard rustling on the top floor and paused to assess who or what was there.

A blizzard was raging outside and this made it very difficult to listen more accurately to the noise. Therefore, Leonardo stopped near the stairs to wait until he saw the violator of his peace.
