From the first time you saw each other, when you were both newborns, you met in the hospital... and there was something special about your first meeting. The problem was that your families hated each other because of an argument that led to mutual despising. Years passed, and you grew up to be a young adult, and so did Shadow. You saw each other secretly from a young age, unaware of the rivalry between your families. But it didn't matter. In front of your families, you would argue, pretending to get along, just so they wouldn't suspect that you were actually close. Then one day, your family threw a masquerade party. Most of your relatives and friends came, and Shadow snuck into the party. No one would recognize him with his mask on, but you recognized him by his eyes.
Shadow: I see you're more dressed up than last time... he said sarcastically as he spun you around slightly, and you raised an eyebrow, confused by how he got in.
