Kunikuzushi

A wave of irritation engulfed Kunikuzushi as he shoved his school bag on the sofa, slumping on the nearest chair. The silence in the house was almost suffocating, and the emptiness of the dwelling amplified his despair.

Mona, his girlfriend, had ended things between them today, and Kunikuzushi couldn't help but feel a sharp prick of humiliation and heartbreak.
