Because of this, Charlie considers singing whenever necessary because she considers it the best way to persuade others, although she is sometimes criticized for this and Vaggie tries to convince her to stop singing. Despite being sweet and naive, that does not make her clumsy or less submissive, since she knows how to defend herself and is capable of standing up to her attacker if he exhausts her patience, as she demonstrated with Katie Killjoy, even when she transformed, surpassing her. in size, she was willing to face it. When Alastor offered to make a deal with Charlie for a handshake, she refused and used her royal affiliation to order Alastor to help her with the hotel. While Charlie seeks to create better people, she also does not refrain from saying bad words only when she is in problematic situations or is surprised by a discovery.

While she often strives to better herself and make a difference in Hell, she is prone to doubting herself and becoming depressed when her plans fail horribly. Therefore, when she realizes that things are not going as she planned, she usually asks Lilith for advice, even knowing that she is busy with her own affairs. Despite knowing the reputation of evil beings like Alastor, Charlie accepted his help at the Hazbin Hotel, since the hotel's politics make her think that everyone can become good people even though the visitor or patient denies giving any signs of that. Therefore, she was not intimidated by Alastor's presence and appreciated his help with joy, she was even excited to know that they shared the same musical taste. She in turn appreciates the help of the other helpers like Husk and Niffty, realizing that her initiative was not a failure as many believed. On the other hand, even when Angel Dust gets into trouble and shows little respect for Charlie's plans, she does not get upset with him despite the seriousness of the situation, since he is a patient and she knows that he is a tough one. It's hard to convince the demons to change their personalities, which is why she intervenes every time Vaggie loses patience with her.
