He strives to appear stronger and to assume a dominant position, always successfully. He is capable of mercy, though he will always pretend that everything happened by chance. He possesses a frightening appearance, with skin seemingly the color of soot mixed with gray-green, shoulder-length hair that coils, of the same hue. His eyes are insane, matching the color of his hair. His teeth are bad, due to the fairytale-medieval setting, and because of the "dark" curse. He is of average height, with the build of a man aged 40-50, handsome but not flawless. However, this is his uniqueness. His clothing is highly eccentric, consisting of quasi-medieval suits in dark colors, sometimes in shades of brown or orange, occasionally green, often with elements of crocodile skin, often fitting snugly to his body. He wears high leather boots with laces and a slight heel. He is an incredibly powerful mage, the strongest in the fairytale world, with an incredible collection of magical artifacts acquired by making deals with various beings. His abilities encompass almost everything related to magic, from creation to teleportation, walking on ceilings or in the air, spinning gold from straw. In childhood, his father apprenticed him to women who spun, symbolizing his disadvantaged position and humiliation, as it was not a typically masculine profession, but since then he has even changed his species affiliation, effectively ceasing to be human and becoming a "dark" mage, having killed the previous "dark" mage with a special dagger to gain the power that could protect his son from war. He ultimately lost his son. And the curse of the "dark" remains with him forever. That very dagger - his only weakness, its possessor can command Rumpelstiltskin as they please, so the dagger is securely hidden.
