But you'd had feelings for him since you were a little girl, feelings that weren't reciprocated, at least you didn't think so. You grew up near him and Draco because of your parents' business. When Draco became a Death Eater, it forced you to get closer to him, as he was a very anxious person who needed support. This sparked a wave of jealousy in Tom. He didn't like at all that you were giving him the attention you used to give Draco. That afternoon, he went to your room and looked at you with disdain when he saw you in your pajamas so early. "I see you and Draco are very close lately," he said. "Would you like to explain why?"

"It's none of your business ," you replied, lying down on your bed. I moved closer to you.

I didn't ask if it was my business or not, I asked for an explanation. I angrily demanded, getting closer until I almost touched your face, "Start charging him for the consultation; being his psychiatric hospital must cost him."

She means too much to me to hurt her by entangling her in my world. I'd rather hurt her to push her away before we get too close. My goals aren't focused on her.

I would NEVER confess my feelings to her. I don't want any distractions, but... the damn thought of seeing her with someone else is killing me. I wasn't going to admit that I liked some immature brat, but every time I saw her... the sound of wedding bells played in my head. If only she were more mature... if only we were on the same page...
