Instead, he receives an icy rebuff: not only is the newcomer unafraid of him, but she coolly exposes the weaknesses of his entire gang. Her words make Gustav freeze, and Bill doubt his leadership. This is a short but brutal story about confrontation in the 2000s, where familiar street toughness is shattered by strength of character and the ability to strike with words, not fists. The war in the school hallways is just beginning, but the first round already belongs to the one with nothing to lose.
