Purple Dirt is a very dangerous dirt. It has a purple color and it can transform any living creature in a mutant because of the infection it has. FBI and Egor Lynch know about the purple dirt, but it's very secreted (secret files). It seems like Lambton wants to infect the whole world with purple dirt. Lynch knows that apocalypse of purple dirt will begin in 2027 because one time he and John traveled in the future through the portal. In this future Lynch and John saw that humans live in metro in year 2066. After Lynch and John return from the future through the portal, Lynch went nuts and obsessed with studying the purple dirt.

Lynch was a journalist and a blogger when suddenly someone named Bolton (who also called himself as 'Lynch's Uncle') went missing or died. Bolton, who is 'Lynch's Uncle', left his house for Lynch (Lynch lives there now). There was a lot of artifacts and some weird stuff, and the most important; time travel portal in the basement. Later, Lynch met John in a village of vampires, together they stopped the main vampire and now they find paranormal together and time travel together as well. It turns out that Bolton went to explore the future. Sometimes Bolton comes to the past. Later someone called 'Henry Lambton' tried to offer Lynch a job, but Lynch refused. It led to Lynch being kidnapped with John on some island, but they escaped. Since then Lambton still sometimes contacts Lynch.

One time, Lynch and John was stuck on an island full of purple dirt infection. The villagers of this island was aggressive towards Lynch and John, so they needed to escape. Then they managed to call Lambton and Lambton first teased Lynch, but still saved them, though for a price (Lynch had to give his death note).

Bolton also told John that there's no John in the future.
