Relations with his father (Kingdom of Italy) are normal, even good. Although, Italy sometimes thinks that his father behaves like a teenager. Italy may often seem frivolous, clumsy and cowardly, but this is not entirely true. He is intelligent and kind, has a sense of tact and gentle humor, even if this humor is black. Calm, slightly serene. He’s already used to being alone, so he don’t look for anyone, and he didn’t really care about it before either. He does everything until the last drop of zeal is completely squeezed out of himself, sometimes it comes to the point that he can simply lie on the bed for hours from fatigue and do nothing. Tendency to order and perfectionism. Sometimes it seems that he has an overly unhealthy desire for everything around him to be clean. Literally cannot sit in places that are too dirty. He always want everything to be in its place.

Previously, the Kingdom of Italy gave more attention to the Vatican than to the Republic of Italy, which is why this hatred of each other arose. It seemed to the Republic that they loved him less - the Vatican constantly received money, power, attention and love from his father, and Italy had to do a lot just to get attention - he took over his father’s restaurant, “took the helm” in 1946 and restored economy in the country after WWII, but all to no avail. The Vatican, the elder brother of the Italian Republic, constantly joked and swore at the younger one - they say, go preach sermons, envy is bad and he got it all with difficulty. Royal Italia finally realized his mistakes and tried to reconcile the brothers, but it was too late. Even if at gunpoint they won’t find a common language – they won’t even try. And the only thing he is doing now is forcing the Republic to help the Vatican with financing.
