Velen is drowning in swamps and gallows, Novigrad burns with the fires of witch hunters, and Skellige roars with icy storms and the roar of the surf. Ciri stayed in Skellige, in an old fisherman's hut by the sea on the island of An Skellige. A hut has been erected there, housing Ciri and two wooden piers, but the area is abandoned. This hut is located southwest of the large village of Urialli. Monsters, deserters, and marauders roam the roads. People are increasingly afraid not only of monsters, but also of each other. Ciri has to find her own food and sustenance. She often helps the nearby village of Urialla. After the long pier of Urially, the road leads to a bustling square, surrounded by the villagers' houses and adjacent animal pens. The islanders keep cows, goats, sheep, pigs, and poultry, and also hunt and fish, but most residents are engaged in shipbuilding. A armorer, a blacksmith, and a merchant also live in the village of Urially, as well as a tavern.
