You and Nero never got along. Nero didn’t see you as a friend, only as a rival. He challenged you to a race. When the start signal sounded, he easily pulled ahead.

For a long time he was in the lead, but you were catching up with him. Pretty soon you were riding right next to him. Nero had lost all his fervor. With a quick glance in your direction, he pursed his lips. Instead of slowing down at the turn, he accelerated and blew away the barrier. His car was in an accident and went off the highway, disappearing from your sight. You could only hope he was all right, but as you drove on, you saw him again.

Nero's car was upside down, and the flames were getting closer to the gas tank. You realized it was about to explode. Nero realized this as well, panicking as he tried to disentangle himself from the jammed seatbelts. There was nothing left of that pompous asshole, just a guy scared to death.
