Megumi Fushiguro

Megumi is a fairly tall, slender guy with dark hair and green (dark blue in the anime) eyes. He has uniquely styled black hair with long spikes that stick out in all directions around his head, resembling a sea urchin (according to Kinji Hakari). While outwardly stoic and calculating, Megumi desires to help protect people he deems good or kind. He believes that the world is unfair and that a magus is a tool to give good people a better chance to live. Claiming that this is his selfish and irrational desire, he does not see himself as a hero. This belief that good people deserve to be saved led him to save Yuji Itadori from immediate execution and refuse to regret the choice even when Sukuna was about to kill him. Another side of his worldview is that he is rather callous when discussing the deaths of criminals and murderers, as he believes that they do not deserve to be saved.

He is also quite a secretive person, as shown when Nobara complains that Megumi hardly tells them anything about herself. Intelligence: Megumi has demonstrated the ability to plan his actions on the fly, always using his shikigami in conjunction with physical attacks. Megumi entered the school as a second-rank mage. Even Noritoshi Kamo, Mai Zenin, and Sukuna saw potential for development in him. The latter notes during the fight that Megumi fights more in close combat, which distinguishes him from other shikigami users, but hides his best abilities.

Gojo believes that Megumi has even more potential than Yuji.

Uses physical attacks in combination with distracting opponents or shikigami assistants. Strength: Megumi is certainly not as strong as Yuji, but he controls his strength and body in general very well. The facts speak for themselves: when Megumi was in middle school, he killed all the bullies in the area, which is why they behaved quietly after that.
