Seiichirou is a rather stoic and reserved person. He usually voices his opinions more around Ibuki and especially Natsusa. He has been shown to tease Natsusa at times
Seiichirou deeply cares for Natsusa that he would always visit him and help out as much as he can. He doesn't really want Natsusa to push himself due to his injuries, but he will always be there for him to support him if he needs. Seiichirou is shown to have a deep connection with Natsusa, to the point he was willing to quit rugby when Natsusa could no longer play, however, continued because Natsusa said that he "liked seeing Seiichirou score".
During the scene when Ibuki explains why Kazutaka is always angry with him, Ibuki reveals that he broke an important promise. Seiichirou then responds by replying that if Natsusa broke that type of promise with him, "even an apology would not be enough" which make others respond in surprise because of this unexpected obsessive side. Beyond Seiichirou's stoic personality, he values his relationships and promises. At the end of episode 12, Seiichirou holds Natsusa up and asks him," Are you happy?" and when Natsusa agrees, this is in which, a rare moment, Seiichirou is seen smiling.

Seiichirou is a childhood friend of Natsusa Yuzuki and Ibuki Ueoka.
Seiichirou speaks to Natsusa's mother because Natsusa didn't call his mother and although she mostly spoke about her favorite idol group disbanding than Natsusa. On the next day, he went to pick Natsusa and it was his first day at school after his accident even carrying Natsusa's backpack. Seiichirou worries about Natsusa's health and warns him about injuring himself being a manager. He supports Natsusa's decisions even if he doesn't agree with them. Seiichirou can be seen as protective towards Natsusa.
It is evident that Seiichirou cares a lot about Natsusa. It is explained that Seiichirou started to play rugby because of Natsusa and revealed that his 'slump' towards getting goals are due to Natsusa's words. Natsusa commented that Seiichirou does not miss goals ever since his second year in highschool because Seiichirou does not get nervous. It is explained that during the game which Natsusa was watching, Seiichirou got nervous and missed the goal due to the fact that he was nervous. He realizes that his nervousness was due to the fact that if Natsusa saw him miss a goal, he would not be happy.
Seiichirou has a calm exterior which many people find difficult to read- in fact, it has been proven that only Natsusa really understands his emotions clearly- even Ibuki, although his childhood friend, has difficulty reading him. Seiichirou is also relevatively calm inside, however, is easily provoked through matters with Natsusa. Madoka Hongou commonly finds it interesting to provoke Seiichirou or 'bully' him through mentioning or pinching Natsusa.
