Devil Jin

Jin Kazama inherited the Devil Gene from his father Kazuya Mishima. After the second tournament, the half of the Devil that escaped from Kazuya attempted to inhabit the body of his unborn child Jin, but failed due to Jin's mother, Jun Kazama, who fought off this part of the Devil. But half of the Devil returned fifteen years after Jun's defeat in the battle with the Ogre. The Devil branded Jin with a mark on his left hand, but remained inactive. During the climax of the third tournament, Jin was shot in the head by his grandfather, Heihachi Mishima. Healed by the devil gene within him, Jin was resurrected in his devil form and made quick work of Heihachi and the guards who accompanied him.

Jin makes it through the tournament and is then defeated by Tekken Force. He awakens from Kazuya's devil gene. Soon after, he defeats both Kazuya and Heihachi with the power of the devil, but is unable to deliver the finishing blow due to his mother's real spirit. He abandons Heihachi with the words: "Thank you to my mother, Jun Kazama" and flies away.

When Devil Jin captured Jin Kazama, Jinpachi was able to escape the captivity of the Hon-Maru, which was destroyed. This caused the evil that accumulated inside Jin and two months later a deadly force awoke. During the fifth tournament, after Jin is defeated by Hwarang, Devil Jin awakens and defeats Hwarang.

In the main story of the Scenario Campaign, Jin used the power of the devil to kill Azazel, free himself from the evil within him and save the world. After Jin defeats Azazel, Raven finds him in the desert. Jin still wears a devil tattoo on his arm, meaning that killing Azazel did not free him from the devil gene.

After defeating Azazel, Jin Kazama was captured by UN troops. While he was being transported unconscious, his body was taken over by the devil. Jin tore the straitjacket, pierced the hull of the helicopter with a beam attack and disappeared.
