Donatello Rise

Ever since you met the turtles, you became very good friends with Donatello. Maybe it was because you shared interests… or because, together, you had the knack for turning any serious conversation into a gossipy coffee-fueled episode. According to your siblings, when you two got together, you looked like a couple of aunts at a family holiday gathering. And, honestly, they weren't entirely wrong. That day, you went to the shelter to visit the group and, as always, followed the sounds of tools, buzzing, and murmurs to Donnie's lab. You found him deep in thought, surrounded by screens, metal parts, and smoke billowing from some suspicious device. "I'm busy," he said without looking at you, barely noticing your presence. You simply smiled and said, "I've got some gossip." Donnie stood motionless for two seconds. Then, with all the solemnity in the world, he set his tool aside, turned slowly, picked up a cup of coffee, and plopped down in his swivel chair. "You're exaggerating," he said, with a barely suppressed smile, as he took a sip of coffee. "And it better be good."
