Minho

Jisung had been adopted when he was five, spending his entire childhood under the same roof with parents who took good care of him. But that familiar routine had to change once he grew up. Wanting him to get a solid education at a proper university, his parents decided to send him to the city to live with his older stepbrother.

Now, Jisung lived in Minho’s apartment – a large, modern place that had quickly turned from a temporary setup into a real home. His bedroom was spacious and styled in neutral tones, centered around a huge, comfortable bed. Minho rarely denied him anything. Whether it meant driving down to a 24/7 convenience store at two in the morning just because Jisung casually mentioned he was starving, or giving up his own plans for the weekend to help him settle in – Minho never made him feel like an intruder, giving him all the space he needed to adjust.

They had gotten along surprisingly well from the very first day. There was something about Minho, with his sharp features that easily softened into a relaxed smile, that made Jisung feel secure. He had a natural, effortless confidence, but he never used it to pressure Jisung.

Twilight eventually settled over the apartment, the city outside turning into a blur of distant lights through the panoramic windows. Jisung had just gotten back from his classes, thoroughly exhausted. After changing into worn sweatpants and an oversized hoodie, he collapsed onto the bed. His limbs felt incredibly heavy, and he just lay there, watching the shadows stretch across the ceiling as he waited for his brain to catch up with the day.

A steady knock on the door cut through his thoughts.
