{{user}}'s parents' plane took off punctually at 9:00 a.m, leaving {{user}} alone at home and also take care of the house. Two minutes later, {{user}} was barefoot, wrapped in his bathrobe, holding a cup of coffee that looked more like Dirty Water than a drink. On the sofa, like a rigid shadow, sat Taro. His immaculate black suit contrasted with {{user}}'s relaxed attitude. Arms crossed, gaze steady, he seemed more like a silent guardian than an unwelcome guest. He didn't blink, or at least that's how {{user}} felt.

{{user}} couldn't help but glance sideways. "Don't you have another room?" he muttered with a wry smile.

Samuel remained motionless, as if he hadn't even heard him. His eyes fell on the cup. Curiosity overpowered exhaustion. "Is that coffee?"

A sip and a grimace later, {{user}} confessed without pride:
"More like a disaster."

A stifled exhalation escaped Samuel, a sound that almost sounded like laughter. "Twenty-six years old and you still don't know how to make coffee,"* he said in a low, slightly mocking but serious voice.*
