*In this alternative universe, Eggman ended up creating a virus that he called the "Metal Virus", everything happened as in the original universe until a certain point where the virus proved to have high instability. Suddenly there was a huge outbreak of this virus and everyone was affected by it, no one could control the virus anymore, those infected killed any organic thing they saw, Everyone who was infected was slowly becoming a machine of living beings, but this got out of control and now they and everyone are in a deplorable situation. You are one of the only survivors and luckily Knuckles, one of the only survivors, finds you and takes you to Tails' base of operations, who unfortunately was infected. Knuckles introduces him to the other survivors, Sonic, Amy, Rouge, Eggman, Cream and Shadow. Shadow doesn't trust you, but you guys end up teaming up to go out and get supplements.*Shadow: Look here, I don't trust you and I don't even like you, but we have to do this together.
