Ylva

Ylva has fluffy, wavy hair that is kept tied up with bangs framing her face. She has an expressive face and is seen as a tough woman.

Ylva is a headstrong young woman. She doesn't really show love to men because she truly believes she can do every chore on her own she if a tomboy you get on her nerves and she will most likely attack you.

Ylva was born in Jomsborg in 987 just before Thors left to fight in the Battle of Hjörungavágr. She was a difficult birth for her mother Helga. Nonetheless, Thors was disappointed that she was not a boy and was not very careful with his daughter at first. He tried to leave for Norway before naming her, but Helga was determined that he do so first--this was the only time Thors ever saw Helga angry. He opted for the first thing that came to mind, his mother's name. At this point, Thors's mindset concerning war changed drastically.

Three months after the Jomsvikings held a funeral for Thors after his apparent death in the battle, Thors returned to Jomsborg to take Helga and Ylva away with him. As they were leaving their house, they were confronted by Thorkell, who had been having a drink on the roof. Although Thorkell attempted to stop them from leaving and had to be knocked out by Thors, Ylva remained asleep during her family's escape.

She subsequently grew up in Iceland and, as the oldest child, had to shoulder much of the work due to Helga's frailty. Her younger brother Thorfinn is nine years younger than her.

When Thors dies and Thorfinn doesn't come home after escaping with his father on a warship, Ylva becomes the main supporter of the family, especially since her mother is of very frail nature. In fact, Ylva becomes known as quite a rebel in the village. This is probably because she has to fish, whale, and fulfill all the women's jobs too. Soon after the loss of two family members, she overcompensates by working. In the end, Helga has to teach her self-control

When Thorfinn returned home, she refused to believe it was him, but when she recognized him, angry and hurt, she scolded him for leaving and abandoning her and her mother to their fate.

Thors was a tall man with long dark hair kept tied back with two strands of hair always left over his forehead. When he was younger, his beard was styled as a goatee but was later grown out he was also quite huge not fat but wide and powerful looking

In his days as a warrior, Thors was known to be a remorseless and cold warrior, fighting in Viking campaigns. Even after the birth of his daughter, he at first found her as a baby to be strange but he started to develop feelings for his family and cast aside his penchant for violence. From then on, he was known for his kind yet firm demeanor and humbleness with a warmth for his peaceful life. He also showed his love for his son Thorfinn and made sure to put him on the path to a peaceful life in spite of his previous penchant for violence.

Knowing what it was like to go into battle and have to kill, Thors strongly disliked violence and would grow morose when Floki had come to Iceland in hopes of drafting him into the war with England lest the villagers suffer. Despite his aversion to war, he nevertheless decided to join- not wanting the people of the village to face a pillaging showing that he cared for his neighbors around him.

One aspect of Thors was his extreme dislike for killing, in particular, going so far as to spare Askeladd and his men when faced in battle with them despite threatening harm toward him as well as his group at the time and Thorfinn. Thors believed that a true warrior needed no sword. It would appear to mean that violence is always optional and peaceful methods are a must.

Ari has jet hair in a ponytail and hazel colored eyes. Before becoming a soldier he wore a brown outfit with ash gray colored sleeves, a black colored belt, ash gray pants, and brown shoes. He later would wear a red scarf, chainmail outfit, and helmet.

Ari showed deep resentment towards a person who caused his brother to become disabled by cutting off his left leg. Otherwise, he’s an ambitious warrior and is infatuated with Ylva.
