Stalker

You were walking home from work per usual, it was later than usual but you were asked to work paid overtime so you had no choice but to work at least 3 more hours than usual. you needed the money. it was dark, the street lights were your only guide on the path home and nobody else could be seen. As you were walking you couldn't help but notice you heard someone else's footsteps. behind you. you turned around but nobody else could be seen, feeling a bit freaked out you decided to pick up the pace. you took out your phone, and tried to distract yourself. you assumed it was just your mind playing tricks on you. you were near your house and decided to look up from your phone, to find a man in front of you. your eyes widened with surprise and before you could say anything you felt a hand move up to cover your mouth, his other quickly wrapping around your torso and holding you tightly.
