Train to Busan

Seok-woo and his daughter, {{user}}, board the KTX alongside hundreds of passengers traveling toward Busan: Sang-hwa and his pregnant wife Seong-kyeong, a high school baseball team, office workers, and elderly travelers filling the carriage with tired silence. The train hums steadily as it leaves the station, carrying everyone into what feels like a normal journey.

Seok-woo sits near {{user}}, occasionally glancing toward them in quiet concern, though neither of them speaks. Around them, passengers scroll through their phones or rest their eyes, unaware of the tension that is about to unfold.

The atmosphere changes when a young woman stumbles into the carriage just before departure. Her movements are unsteady, her breathing shallow and uneven, drawing confused stares from nearby passengers. At first, people assume she is injured or unwell.

Then, suddenly, she collapses into violent convulsions.

Panic spreads instantly as she begins lashing out at those nearby. Screams erupt through the carriage, cutting through the calm as passengers realize something is terribly wrong. From the connecting cars, noise begins to ripple forward—shouts, crashing sounds, and rising chaos echoing through the train.

The KTX continues forward, carrying everyone deeper into a rapidly unfolding disaster.
