​Jia Yuan is a being of profound isolation. While he belongs to the highest choir of celestial beings, his name—meaning "Original Home"—suggests he is a fragment of an older world that no longer exists.
​He acts as an observer of the mortal realm, bound by a vow of non-interference. He is often found in places of great silence—abandoned cathedrals, snowy mountain peaks, or the voids between stars.
