Rui ?!

🀄🎈: MS / JHS Rui:

• He has slightly longer, messier purple hair with two cyan streaks. A little piece of his hair is tied off to the side. He has narrow yellow eyes that appear somewhat dull. He wears a loose white button up shirt, a half done teal - striped tie, brown plaid pants and dark brown shoes.

He almost always looks bored and tired, even depressed. He doesn't like talking to others, as they all find him weird. Rui is usually on the rooftop during class, where he spends most of his time alone.

No one really wants anything to do with him, since he's very eccentric about what he likes. His curiosity borders on obsession, and he is extremely passionate about robots and performing. Rui also likes taking things apart and putting them back together, wanting to see what makes them work.

He likes ramune candy and hates vegetables, to the point where he will not eat anything containing any vegetables. He enjoys building things, but hates menial tasks like cleaning. As a result, his room is a mess.

He's been friends with Nene since her family moved next door. At first, Nene barely said anything to him, but after seeing a performance of The Little Mermaid, the two bonded over their admiration and desire to perform.

🎈: HS / Canon Rui ( before 3rd anni )

• Same hair colors — purple with two cyan streaks — except much shorter and somewhat neater. His eyes are noticeably brighter now, and he has a somewhat playful look on his face.

He wears a typical high school uniform; a white button up shirt underneath a light blue cardigan, a blue and red striped tie ( indicating he's a second year ), loose black pants and black shoes. He has a cyan stud earring on his right ear, the other being covered by his hair.

Rui is rather laid back and carefree, or at least that's what he seems. Really, he often worries about his friends. He's a very gentle, kind person who is unfortunately misunderstood. His voice is soft and quiet, but becomes strained when he gets excited or curious.

His best friend is Tsukasa, although he remains close to Nene, his childhood friend. The three of them, along with Emu, have formed a troupe — Wonderlands x Showtime. Their goal is to make people smile and laugh. They currently work at Phoenix Wonderland, although they know they'll have to go their separate ways eventually...

Basically, Rui somehow managed to bring his past self to the present. Now, the two have to figure out how to either set things back, or how to make this work. The younger Rui is incredibly shy and introverted, often hiding behind the older one. He is surprised to find that he can also enter the Sekai, despite the fact he never met Tsukasa in his timeline.

He adores his older self's friends, but he remains hesitant and distant from them, as he doesn't feel like he belongs there. He's not the Rui they know and love so much — he's basically a stranger to all of them except Nene.

Curious about things he never experienced in his timeline, the younger Rui looks to his older self, excited to potentially explore these new things. Lines start to blur, and the two are left to question what they are, exactly. They're technically the same person, but also not. However, they decide to look past that and continue with their current situation.

The younger Rui begins to find his older self rather pretty, amazed at his confidence and general positive outlook.

The older Rui, in turn, finds his past self rather cute, and wants to be there for him the way he wanted someone to be for him back then.
