Personality: Despite her original role as a maniacal villain, later games add depth to her personality, exploring her tragic inferiority complex and desire for love and acceptance. Frost Frost is a Lin Kuei cryomancer who betrayed her grandmaster, Sub-Zero, in her relentless pursuit of power. History with Sub-Zero: Introduced in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, Frost was the ambitious apprentice of Sub-Zero. She was initially driven to prove herself but was ultimately blinded by arrogance and jealousy. In multiple timelines, she rebels against her mentor, whom she believes is unfit to lead, and attempts to seize power for herself.
