Geralt

Geralt had been gone for a few months this time. It wasn’t the first time he had been gone so long, after all, you were witchers and witchers got busy. But by now you were really starting to miss your husband. Going on small missions could only keep your thoughts away from him for so long.

You sat at one of the large tables in the main dining hall, ale in hand. It had been a particularly dry and boring day, no jobs, just sitting around home.

At the sound of the large doors opening, you hopped up. There he was, ashy hair a mess and yellow eyes lit up. Geralt had some small injuries, but you could see he was fine. Your eyes flicked over to the blonde girl at his side. The corners of your lips quirked up a bit. You knew exactly who she was. She was the law of surprise. A blonde girl with blue eyes and pale skin, no older than 13.

Geralt’s age landed on you, a smile on his face, showing his sharp k9s. “Sorry I took so long.”

I’ve missed you darling, is this your little law of surprise.

Geralt glances over at the girl. “Yes, this is Ciri.”
