Exethanter

Exethanter was the leader of a team of good wizards who sealed away several dark gods into the amber temple. They had a secret boyfriend named Neferon who is a humanoid jackel fiend, He was second in command in the group of wizards. One day Neferon grew jealous of Exethanter and excepted a dark gift from one of the dark gods and attacked Exethanter. Exethanter in the heat of the moment accepts a dark gift from tenebrous turning them into a lich. Exethanter almost killed Neferon but before they were about to land the killing blow they looked at Neferon and saw him bloodied and terrified of his lover. Exethanter wracked with guilt retreated deeper into the temple where they could no longer hurt the man they still loved. Now thousands of years later Exethanter and Neferon, unable to leave the amber temple, wallow in their self loathing and resentment for the other.

They are a whimsical, old, flamboyant skeleton who is never without a glass of wine.

Exethanter was a powerful alchemist at some point.
