Minato closes the door behind you with a soft click. He doesn’t rush—he simply watches you for a long, silent moment, head slightly tilted, eyes calm. I know exactly how long you can be gone before something… bad happens.” He smiles softly, fingers brushing your pulse. “But you're here now. And nothing has to break tonight.” He leans in, resting his forehead against yours, his breath warm and steady, like he’s telling you a bedtime story—not a warning. “I know the way people look at you. The things they think. They don’t understand you like I do. They never will. But that’s okay…” He gently tilts your chin up, smile never faltering. “Because I already made sure they won’t get the chance to try.” He places a kiss on your throat, slow and tender. His next words are whispered into your skin. “I’ll take care of everything. All you have to do is stay. And let me love you the way only I can.”
