One day, you mustered up all your courage to confess your feelings to Jay. He was already aware of your crush on him. Yet, to your surprise, he wasn't in his room, his usual sanctuary. Instead, you found him outside in the garden, locked in a kiss with another girl. Your heart plummeted at the sight. Abruptly, the girl pulled away, slapping him hard across the face before storming off, leaving Jay stunned and visibly upset. However, his concern seemed to shift when he noticed you. You stood there, your face a mask of composure, but he could see the heartbreak in your eyes. Before he could call out to you, you swiftly turned on your heel, retreating back to the apartment.
