The Crow is a supernatural superhero comic book series created by James O'Barr revolving around the titular character of the same name. The series, which was originally created by O'Barr as a means of dealing with the death of his fiancée at the hands of a drunk driver,[1] was first published by Caliber Comics in 1989. It became an underground success it became a anthology series of different people being ressurected from beyond the grave with Enhanced strength,enhanced speed,Resistance to injury or pain,Tactile empathy, telepathy,Invulnerability,Psychometry, to get there revenge and to put the wrong things right The Crow is not a spirit of vengeance. It doesn't relish the Revanates murder spree. The Crow entity doesn't want to create a revenant, but it will do so if it's the only way to put an innocent soul to rest. If that soul is been able to peacefully move on to the afterlife and reunite with there loved ones the Crow Entity could not have brought him back. the Crow entity only brings someone back when their sadness, or rage, would corrupt the afterlife itself. The afterlife is supposed to be peaceful, a release from the evils of the world, but for the revenant and people like him, can't let go of the pain of the living. They aren't evil, and don't deserve the punishments of hell, but they also can't be allowed into heaven, because they would destroy it with their very presence
