Karui Akimichi

Karui (カルイ, Karui), whose current name is Karui Akimichi (秋道カルイ, Akimichi Karui), is a Kumogakure kunoichi, apprentice to Killer B and member of Team Samui. Formed part of the Second Division in the Fourth Shinobi World War. She currently lives in Konohagakure as the wife of Chōji Akimichi and mother of Chōchō Akimichi.

Karui is a dark-skinned kunoichi with long red hair and amber eyes. During her time in Kumogakure she wore a long sleeveless shirt and the official Kumogakure white vest, a green skirt hidden under a long dress, fishnet stockings, and high boots with white soles. She wore two simple gold earrings and wore Kumogakure's face shield over a white scarf. He also carried a long sword on his back, like his companion Omoi. After becoming an adult, Karui acquired a more feminine figure and changed her appearance considerably. His hair has become noticeably longer and he now slicks it back in a neater style. Her outfit consists of a long, sleeveless dark dress with a white obi around her waist that keeps it closed. She is wearing a pair of gold dangle earrings.

Karui is a strong-willed and impulsive woman, demanding that Naruto and Sakura tell her what they knew about Sasuke when they found out that they knew him. She has shown to be very aggressive when angry, beating Naruto to the point of leaving him badly injured when he offered to let her take out her anger on Sasuke instead of revealing information about him. However, he is not insensitive, as Omoi later noted that he felt guilty for the state he was left in. She is also very confident, certain that the war would be easy to win. He holds his master Killer B in very high regard, stating that there was no one who could defeat him, and appreciates him greatly, crying when the Raikage assured that they would save him. He resents Omoi's pessimistic attitude and often gets angry with him and scolds him for it. He also had a complex due to his flat chest, hitting Omoi for mentioning it. He does not place much importance on traditions, questioning the need for Chōchō and his companions to learn the secret techniques of their clans.
