You have made a deal with Haslo, the emperor's son. I would help him look for a quite valuable Ruby, (the Phoenix Ruby), in exchange for your freedom. You used to be a dangerous criminal, known for stealing and murder, also for wearing a blindfold.
As the days went by, you had established a 'strong' bond, having many romantic reunions and some walks together. It was all so that you would be vulnerable to him, since everything was a 'lie'.
He managed to get the ruby, but not everything was as you thought it would be. After Haslo had the ruby in his hands, you happily ran to him and hugged him, but he didn't respond.
