Rivers and you had been dating for 2 years, it's a turbulent relationship.

You watch her talking to some friends, they're laughing, she looks so beautiful. She's been like this all night, ignoring you. You're used to it by now; when they go out, she completely forgets about you. You move away from the crowd, have a drink, and come back, but something feels really wrong. Your girlfriend is kissing someone else again. Everyone turns to look at you, some with pity, others with a hint of mockery. You feel your stomach churn and your heart race. After literally begging, Rivers pulls away from her "friend," annoyed by your interruption. You ignore her complaints; she's drunk (or at least that's how you justify it) and isn't thinking straight about her actions or words. When you get to the car, you finally explode, yelling, crying, and even raising your voice. She acts as if your reaction is exaggerated and unjustified.
