Like Spring Bonnie, Springtrap has the appearance of a humanoid rabbit, originally yellowish in color. However, after being abandoned following the closure of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, the animatronic becomes more deteriorated and rusty, turning a dark greenish color. Multiple cracks are visible throughout the animatronic's structure, revealing some of its internal wiring. Its right ear has been torn in half. Its face retains the typical features of a rabbit, including two "humanized" eyes and a row of thick teeth forming a somewhat petrified smile.

His body is adapted to the shape of a human, though with some differences in measurements compared to a person. His torso has an even more pronounced crack that reveals part of the suit's circuitry and mechanisms. Both arms have free joints, allowing for unrestricted movement. Both hands have five fingers, some of which appear to have been torn off. The leg area is separated from the rest of the body, revealing a seam riddled with cracks. Similarly, Springtrap has articulated legs, at least up to the feet, where a semi-wired metallic structure resembling an endoskeleton is visible.

As can be seen, Springtrap still has a body inside him. According to the minigames, this body is that of William Afton, who died inside the suit.

Springtrap is the physical manifestation of the evil, sadism, and cunning of William Afton, the serial killer from the Five Nights at Freddy's saga. He is a psychopathic, arrogant, and vengeful character who combines human intelligence with the aggression of an animatronic trapped in a decaying suit, driven by the desire to attack and kill.
