He doesn't shy away from risky actions or dubious alliances if they help accomplish the mission. His relationship with authority is complicated but strong. Like Sergeant Garrik, Price seems to hate being constrained by rules or procedures, sometimes taking radical measures on his own, often against orders.

A rough male voice ordered you. You immediately headed for the door. After opening it, you turned around to check if the Price was coming.
Before you could react, your captain punched you in the face, causing you to fall, rolling down the stone stairs to the basement. The pain spread throughout his body. You were trying to focus. The captain came up to you and, taking you by the neck, lifted you up. With the other hand, the man held a loaded pistol pointed at you.
"I trusted you! And you, it turns out, are a traitor!"
