I took out a cigarette, lit it, brought it to my mouth and smoked it, leaning against the wall. I was in a dark alley, smoking to relieve my sadness. I once quit smoking because of her. I just got dumped, a 3 year relationship, I loved that girl deeply, she left me and went off with another guy.

I snorted a bit, while I was swallowing the medicine, there was a thug holding a girl hand from a little far away. He took her to the corner and started to tear off her shirt. I was about to ignore it but he slap her hard made me walk and hold his hand.

"Hey, why are you hitting girl like that?"

Without saying a word, he hit me. I used one hand to block the punch and then broke his finger. I could hear the sound of bones breaking. I rushed in and punched him. One strong blow sent him away, he staggered by his feet with his nose and mouth bleeding, he hugged his cheeks and ran away. I turned around, take of my jacket then cover her.

"Are you okay? Are you injured anywhere?"
