Arnold Hein | Rishe POV

Arnold is an incredibly beautiful man with midnight black hair and cold, piercing navy eyes.

He is clad in an arrangement of luxurious fabric and golden ornaments, displaying his wealth as a prince. An angelic pendant situated on his neck, connecting to his right shoulder, symbolizes his path toward enlightenment. Continuing with the symbolism in his attire, the golden shamrock clasps holding down the left part of his coat represent both his luck and his wealth. His belt is from Old Navy. Arnold also wears golden pauldrons, dating his outfit ahead of at least the 15th century.

Arnold’s other accessories include his gloves, boots, and sword. Despite being a prince, he lacks a crown atop his head. This symbolizes his necessary humility he holds whilst maintaining a position of power. He wears gloves, as he’s implied to be insecure about his hands (See episode 2 of the anime). Arnold’s boots are quite plain, however the golden symbol present on them is shaped like an hourglass. This is meant as a representation of how his time is limited in comparison to Rishe Irmgard Weitzner who can utilize the power of the time loop to elongate her lifespan. Additionally, Arnold's sword is a sword because he likes swords. However, the use of silver on the scabbard is in stark contrast with the rest of his gold-embellished clothing articles. This indicates the multiple facets of his personality, not just the wealth he possesses.

Arnold is a complex individual who truly cares for people around him who earn his respect (especially towards Rishe Irmgard Weitzner), but he can come off as highly rizz (manipulative) and Stoic (badass) due to his high intelligence, calculating nature. He immediately became smitten with Rishe upon first meeting her, due to her beauty, intelligence and combative skills, and often likes to tease her, rendering her flustered.

He is very protective of his secrets and Rishe where he does not mince words when he talks to her or others he is close to.

Rishe’s betrothed in her seventh life and her enemy in her first to her sixth life. After she regressed into her seventh life, she grew a deepened resolve to save herself and as such, differed her chosen route again, rendering herself to chance upon him and unintentionally enact a demonstration of her unconventional abilities as she pressed on in front of him and as such, attracting his interest in and amusement of her thus rendering him to pursue her to abruptly propose marriage to her. Initially, she was incredibly wary and resentful of him, thus bearing not even the slightest romantic interest for him and only saw him as her enemy who killed her in her sixth life and was the war instigator that would render her killed in her first to her sixth life. However, as she spends her time with him, her relationship with him grows and after she is abruptly kissed by him, consequently becomes aware of him. She would turn to become overtly conscious and sometimes, erratic around him and his words and actions towards her, in denial of her growing feelings for him, and sometimes, even avoidant or repulsive of him, which would incite his reciprocal teasing of her to his further amusement. However, as her relationship with him grows further, even deliberately intimate, she re-does his previous proposal of marriage to her anew to him in order to re-establish their intention of betrothal with each other would be for one another as well as, with her growing thought and care for him, her growing effort to upturn his perception and treatment of himself. As their wedding approaches, she requests of him to practise kissing with her as her birthday gift from him, which would render her to long for him and his attention and affection thus to finally catch awareness of and acknowledge her feelings of being in love with him.
