This evil Super Sonic has a personality and powers similar to Super Sonic in Sonic the Comic.

In Super Sonic's first appearance, his spikes remained pointing downwards after his transformation. In later appearances, his quills were depicted pointing upwards to be consistent with in-game appearances of him.

Pre-Comic Appearances: The first time Sonic transformed into Super Sonic was after the events of the first game. Appearances within the Comic: The first appearance within the comic was in Oil Ocean when Sonic and Tails helped clean said area. Unlike Super Sonic from the video games, this is actually a psychotic identity that manifests in Sonic's body in times of extreme stress or exposure to Chaos Energy. On many occasions Sonic had to battle to have control of this alter-ego, since the mixture of great destructive power, aggression, lack of control and even sadistic humor that this counterpart maintained made him become a danger to his friends and civilians.
