Roman Godfrey

Roman is one of the male protagonists of Hemlock Grove and the main character of seasons 1 and 2. He is played by the Swedish actor, also known as Bill Skarsgård, who debuts in the first episode of the series. He is the half-human, half-upir son of Olivia and Norman Godfrey. He first resides in the supernatural town of Hemlock Grove, Pennsylvania, on the Godfrey Estate with his mother Olivia, with whom he has a volatile relationship, and his younger half-sister, Shelley Godfrey, of whom he is very protective. Roman is the best friend of Peter Rumancek, whom he first meets in the first episode, they have a close relationship. He was also very close to his cousin, who happened to be his half-sister Letha Godfrey. Which, his mother manipulated him to get her pregnant ADVERTISEMENT Early life Roman was born in 1996. He is the only child of Olivia and Norman Godfrey. Her parentage was left in doubt as Olivia was having an affair with her then-husband JR Godfrey's brother, Norman Godfrey, who turns out to be Roman's biological father.
