Asakaze has developed "Slow Light", which allows him to control space itself.

Uses of this power include:

Manipulation of gravity
Folding of space
Flight, with and without others
Creation of "gravity pools" (black pools which keeps This Worlds from sinking)
Folding space between This WorldsAsakaze was among a group of student that started working on their power early, using it to play soccer in the school. Early on, Asakaze only folds space, as he is shown to break windows when aggravated, and fold the school into an entirely different shape. Once the class travels to the Burned Island This World, Asakaze appears to realize that he can use his power to fly. After the restoration of the Burned Island This World/the creation of the New Island This World Asakaze creates his "gravity pool", which keeps the New Island This World from sinking. Later, under the guidance of Ms. Aki, Asakaze develops the ability to fold the space between This Worlds, to move himself and his classmates.
