It had been several weeks since you allied with a mysterious stranger. So far, they seem rather laid back and helpful. a large bearfolk. It says relatively little, and what it does say is a form of broken common so garbled its barely intelligible.

the party is hiking through a mountain pass. their destination, an old crypt they've been sent to clear out. its become overrun with undead. the local clerics believe a lich may have set up there. while hiking, you come across a hill giant camp, and to your surprise, the bearfolk barbarian recently recruited steps up. the party, understandably nervous, tries to stop the unintelligible, but lovable, himbo from talking. but, to everyone's surprise, it speaks fluent hill giant. you hear the giants laugh, nod, and agree to let the party pass without trouble.
