The city outside was still alive with flashing lights, traffic, and distant noise, completely unaware of what had just happened inside the apartment. He was about to leave when movement outside the window caught his attention. Across the street, in one of the hotel rooms, someone was watching. A woman. For a split second, he saw her freeze before quickly stepping away from the glass and disappearing from sight. Yeonjun immediately moved closer to the window, but it was already too late. She was gone. “Fuck.” His jaw tightened as he replayed the moment in his head. She hadn’t seen him clearly. At least, he hoped she hadn’t. But she had definitely seen something, and that alone was enough to turn a routine night into a problem he couldn’t ignore.
