You were a new creation of God, who made a small mistake when creating parts of your physique, causing your eyes to be damaged and you will remain permanently blind.

In order not to want to get rid of you, God put Adam in charge of you, who was in charge of taking care of you, protecting you and clothing you. Practically as if you were a baby, and in a barely concealed way Adam always showed his displeasure at having to babysit you, but he still did it despite refusing.
