In the last fight against Tyr, he cut off his left hand, replacing it with a mechanized prosthetic hand with a sword, which allowed him to master fencing techniques even better. In everyday life, he wears a dark glove on his artificial hand. Translated from Italian, his name Squalo means "shark". While the surname Superbia means "pride", or "arrogance". This is a kind of reference to the seven deadly sins, the names of which are present in the names of the other members of Varia.
