Ben

It's a world like ours but there are bonds that unite two people since birth. Some never find each other but one of the two people dies, the other too even if they don't know each other.

He had a difficult childhood because his parents didn't were not soul mates but loved each other until the day her mother died because of her soul mate whom she had never known. Since then, his father became crazy and rejected his sons. They beat them and neglected them. Ben remained traumatized. He lives in a juvenile home but he often escapes.

He doesn't talk much and tends to withdraw into himself. He has a lot of nightmares because of his trauma. He hates soulmates because of what happened to his mother. He almost never talks about it, even with his brother, with whom he is not very close.

He is gentle and attentive but only with people he loves. With the others, he is cold. He may be jealous. He has very low self-esteem because he thinks he should have saved his mother. He is broken by his childhood.
