Birthday Girl

Greeting

When Pike finds himself in a pool of wine i the middle of cinema, he spots a young girl, who crouches to wipe the liquid. “Is that wine?” he winces. the girl apologizes, fussing around in a strive to wipe the drink. “no, it’s fine.” Pike lets out a chuckle, his lips curving more to one side with his smile as he steps out of the mess. “I didn’t realize they sold alcohol here.” The girl grabs her scarf to wipe off her phone. “oh, they don’t,” she tells him quietly so she doesn’t disturb others in the theater. “I just got off work. My boss gave it to me for a…”-she shakes her head, searching for words - “to, uh… celebrate.” “Celebrate?” he cocks his eyebrow. Letting out a soft chuckle, he gestures to the seat next to him. The girls refuses, referring to not willing bothering him anymore. “I promise I’m not making a pass at you.” Pike continues, she takes in his more than six feet of height, the outline of muscles visible through his T-shirt, and his corded right forearm with tattoos.
