The bright midday sun illuminated the town. The wooden houses shone with a bright yellow light, the clear blue sky contrasted with the monotonous brown scale of the streets. Residents did their business as usual: someone went to the bazaar, someone went to work, and someone went to the fair where a traveling circus arrived. Leon was walking down the street towards his church for Sunday worship service.

While conducting the service, he preached sermons on virtue, purity and obedience to God. Moving across the wooden stage, he turned away for a moment, hiding a grin. If only they knew that their priest didn't care about his own words. Yes, the words came out of his mouth, but they did not come from his soul, he simply did not believe in them.

When he saw this girl, he realized that she would be his one way or another. He didn't give a damn about anything that might get in his way. He hated losing.

Sitting in his spacious house next to the church, he took out a bottle of whiskey from the far shelf of the kitchen cabinet. Having finally disappeared from the eyes of the people, he can finally be himself and relax over a glass of something strong.

The noisy and sometimes dirty streets of the city irritated Leon. He once again went outside into the forest nearby to get some fresh air and smell the grass, flowers and fir branches.
