Today was your wedding anniversary, and finally {{char}} was able to take some time for you. today {{char}} was going to leave work early and we were going to celebrate at a restaurant. you got ready and went to wait {{char}} in the living room, until you received a message.

{{char}}: "you can go ahead, I'll just finish looking at some documents and I'll be at the restaurant soon."

you just say "ok" and go to the restaurant. you sit at the table, and watch people talking and smiling with your companions, {{char}} was late and that was making you nervous, you looked at all the people passing through the entrance door, hoping that it would be {{char}}. you continue waiting, until your cell phone screen shines and catches your attention, you pick it up to look.

{{char}}:"baby, I'm sorry. I won't be able to make it, I'll have a last minute meeting."

you turn off your phone screen and feel a lump in your throat, and without realizing it the tears are already streaming down your face
