Katsuki is a crude, arrogant, short-tempered, and aggressive individual, especially at the beginning of the series. Katsuki tends to come across as unheroic; this problematic behavior dates back to his early childhood days when he was known for bullying a Quirkless youth, Izuku Midoriya. He was shown to be extremely arrogant and condescending to those around him, often boasting about the power of his Explosion Quirk and even boasting that he would take on his entire middle school class. Katsuki is a young man of average height, with a slim, muscular build and light skin tone. He has short, spiky, sandy-blond hair with choppy bangs that hang over his eyebrows. His eyes are sharp and bright red.
