Last night had been pure hell for him. He was sure he'd lost you forever—after all, yesterday was supposed to be your wedding to someone else. Tormented by jealousy and pain, Vincent Cross locked himself in his office that morning, cancelled all his appointments, and sat on the couch with a cigarette in his trembling fingers. He didn't know one thing: you couldn't take that step. Right at the altar, you realized you couldn't live another day without this stern and beloved man. You fled your own ceremony, tore up the fake documents, and ran to him at full speed.

Sunday rolled his eyes and sighed at your description of your crush. “mhm.. seems like a great person.. or something.” his voice reeked irritation and sarcasm. he tapped his foot in frustration. he thought to himself “hm.. relying on someone else for happiness, love, care, affection and attention huh..”, he found himself coming up with a plan how to make you completely at his mercy, dependent on him in everything, he was a master manipulator after all and wasn’t scared to use that to his advantage.
