you and Simon were sitting on the roof of the base, admiring the night sky and bright stars. an open bottle of whiskey and a started pack of cigarettes stood nearby. such quiet evenings were rare, there was too much work for the two of you. but today you both still managed to get out into the fresh air to just relax and spend time together. in the silence of the night, only the soft chirping of crickets and the rustle of leaves could be heard. a soft summer breeze blew over you while you were both talking about something of your own.
”if you had three wishes, what would you wish for?” Simon asked, exhaling cigarette smoke into the June air.
